We are looking for a Full-Time RN Clinic Manager to support our client, Seaboard Foods, in Guymon, OK.
Schedule: 5 days per week, hours to be determined by client needs.
Management and supervision of the day-to-day operations of the WorkCare On-Site Occupational Clinic at Seaboard Foods. Responsible for providing leadership, staff oversight, training and development and management of administrative processes, personnel, clerical, technical, and maintenance functions; planning and assigning duties to employees; monitoring the activities of all operating components to assure provision of high-quality employee care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide best in class customer service to client’s employees, management, and vendor partners.
- Oversee daily clinic operations assuring compliance with all WORKCARE clinic administrative and personnel management policies and procedures.
- Understand and strive to meet and exceed client expectations for an on-site clinic and staff.
- Responsible for understanding all deliverables of contractual agreement.
- Participate in all internal WorkCare meetings as requested/assigned.
- Participate in all client-owned and driven on-site meetings as approved by the Regional Account Manager (RAM).
- Reports directly to and communicates regularly with WORKCARE
- Advise RAM of all potential out of scope of work requests/challenges.
- Understands the clinic manager’s role in each clinical situation as related to their professional qualification.
- Communicates with and takes direction in clinical matters directly to Onsite/Corporate Medical Director (CMD) and escalate to RAM if needed.
- Assist Regional Account Manager in the new hire and on-boarding process.
- Supervise staff, approve staff time sheets, coach, develop, mentor staff, and complete all required performance reviews.
- Manage clinic schedule in accordance with contractual agreement.
- Supervise all daily clinical and administrative clinic programs and supporting process(s).
- Assure clinic is maintained to the highest physical cleanliness and operating standards.
- Maintain all clinic equipment and supplies in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Maintain and manage the electronic medical records system assuring all employee medical information is secure and confidential.
- Assure all clinic employees have access, are trained, and utilize the electronic medical records system. Work towards elimination of paper records, as appropriate.
- Manage all external and internal vendor relationships.
- Identify new opportunities for clinic programs, policies, and procedures.
- Will perform RN duties such as regulatory testing, injury/illness triage, assessment, treatment, and wellness education in a clinic setting for Seaboard Food Operations and via telephone for Animal Operations as directed by WorkCare and State Guidelines.
- Provide comprehensive injury management and medical case management of work-related injuries and illness as appropriate. Input and update all work-related injuries/illnesses in the Company’s system of record for recording injuries/illnesses.
- Communicate and update clients Work Comp Director on all work-related injuries/illnesses.
- Communicates and informs the HR department of employees with work restrictions, work related absences, current status, etc.
- Oversees the drug screen and alcohol collections and testing for post incident/accident and for reasonable suspicion. Partners with client’s HR and EHS Teams for compliance of the drug and alcohol tests in accordance with company’s substance abuse policy.
- Oversees hearing-tests conducted on client’s employees in accordance with their Hearing Conservation Program (HCP). Partners and communicates with the client’s HR and EHS Teams weekly providing names of those employees who are delinquent, did not show up for their scheduled hearing tests or those who need to be re-tested. Notifies EHS of any STS. Notifies HR and EHS of those employees that need accommodation.
- Partners with HR/EHS for other surveillance programs: i.e., performing spirometry and respirator fit testing, medical exam for powered industrial vehicles, Hepatitis B, etc.
- Perform additional duties and assume additional responsibilities as identified by the RAM for the efficient operation of the WorkCare on-site clinic.
- Communicate and partner with the client under the direction and oversight of the RAM).
Education and Experience:
- Completion of Registered Nurse Program
- AS/BS Degree preferred
- COHN-S preferred but not required
- License/Certifications required: Current RN license for Oklahoma.
- Three plus years of management and supervisory experience required, healthcare management experience preferred.
Final compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience and qualifications.
